John D. Cooney, Ph.D.
Dr.Cooney provides environmental consulting services in the areas of NPDES permit reviews, technical implementation of Toxicity Identification/Reduction Evaluations (TI/RE), development of site-specific water quality criteria and performance of treatability studies. He has extensive experience characterizing and identifying toxic components of municipal and industrial wastewater discharges and the effects of pollutants on aquatic ecosystems. He can provide assistance to industries and municipalities in complying with the USEPA and state permitting requirements under the NPDES program established under the Clean Water Act. Over the past 40 years Dr. Cooney has been actively involved in toxicological and water quality-related research directed at solving water pollution problems.
James D. Parry, P.E.
Mr. Parry provides professional engineering services to the legal community as an engineering consultant and as an expert witness. Jim has over 35 years experience as a Professional Engineer. He provides engineering consultation to support litigation avoidance strategies for the consulting community and provides expert witness services on a variety of potential lawsuits involving the water and wastewater environment and land development services. He is a licensed professional engineer in Colorado, Connecticut and South Carolina. His professional affiliations include the American Public Works Association, the Congress for the New Urbanism, NAIOP, and MASSECON. He received his BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Connecticut and his MS in Water Resources from Colorado State University. He has over 30 years experience as a Professional Engineer.
